The partition coefficient would be greater than 1 (more soluble in the
organic layer) or less than 1 (more soluble in the waterlayer ) for
each mixture.
a. 4-methylaniline in dichloromethane and 1M HCl.
b. 4-methylaniline in dichloromethane and 1M NaOH.
